Simon O’Halloran Criminal Lawyer
Following his admission Simon worked for a year in commercial practice prior to moving to the Victoria Legal Aid office based in Geelong.
Simon was the Young Lawyer Representative for the Law Society in 2015 and previously volunteered at the Hume Riverina Community Legal Centre to assist disadvantaged clients.
He previously worked at Legal Aid in their Criminal Law Division, where he represented all manner of clients in a wide range of criminal and Intervention and personal safety matters, gaining invaluable experience in these areas.
Simon joined our firm in 2017 to assist us in our Geelong office, which he has assisted in growing towards becoming a substantial criminal defence law firm in Geelong. He has shown himself to be a keen advocate who cares deeply about his clients and committed towards the best possible outcomes of their matters. He is a skilled lawyer and advocate for his clients.
Simons tenure at both Legal aid and ourselves, have facilitated frequent appearances at the Geelong, Colac and surrounding Magistrates Court and have allowed him to form meaningful and professional relationships with the staff, prosecutors and Magistrates of these courts.
